Radio receivers accessible on the Internet
There are a large number of radio receivers accessible on the Internet. Some of these are remotely controlled conventional receivers. Many receivers are however using Software Defined Radios (SDR) which allow a section of the radio spectrum to be viewed and listened to by multiple users.
The web based SDRs can be found at: websdr.org/
These receivers are scattered around the world with each offering access to various amateur radio, broadcast and general communication bands.
An example of one that provides a range of reception bands is: www.sdrutah.org/
This is located in Northern Utah in the United States.
